OPERA, DRAMA AND BALLET performances  take place in:

• National Theatre - is one of the most important Czech cultural institutions. The ceremonial laying of the foundation stone in 1868 became a national event. The theatre's repertoire include most famous operas by A. Dvorak, B. Smetana, G. Puccini, G. Bizet, drama and ballet. The repertoire is based on a rich classical tradition, but also focuses on contemporary domestic authors.

• The Estates Theatre - one of the most beautiful historic theatre buildings in Europe which dates from 1783. The name of W. A. Mozart is forever linked with the building and it was here that he personally conducted the premiere of Don Giovanni in 1787. Mozart operas - Don Giovanni, The Magic Flute, Cosi fan tutte and Le nozze di Figaro - are still in the repertoire.

• The State Opera - is located in a beautiful building, the former New German Theatre, built in 1888. The repertoire is made up of successful versions of the most popular operas by W. A. Mozart, G. Verdi, G. Puccini and G. Bizet.

CLASSICAL MUSIC CONCERTS late afternoon or evening performances held in beautiful historical concert halls, palaces, churches, chapels, theatres and museums.

• RUDOLFINUM - home of Czech Philharmonic Orchestra situated in the historical center by the river. The Dvorak Concert Hall with excellent acoustics is appropriate for oratorios, symphonic and chamber music.

• THE MUNICIPAL HOUSE - the building is most remarkable construction of Prague Art Nouveau. It houses a Smetana Concert Hall, one of the most impressive concert halls.

• ST.GILLIAN, ST NICHOLAS, SPANISH SYNAGOGUE, MIRROR CHAPEL IN KLEMENTINUM,, AND MANY MORE.

MEDIEVAL EVENING - Authentic medieval tavern located below the Prague castle presents live show of medieval music, dancers, fencers, fire spitter and juggler  including  a medieval dinner .  Friday only from 8 pm.

THE MEDIEVAL TAVERN -  Enjoy a medieval show in a Gothic cellar of the historical palace situated in the heart of the Old Town including the dinner.  The show is on Wed  through Sun or daily in summer season.

BLACK LIGHT THEATRE   features magical mixture of mime, modern dance, ballet, animated film, actors and/or puppets and light effects. Props are floating in the air...Very tricky!

• Image Theatre - mysterious & fantastic performances daily at 8 pm.
  

• Black  Light Theatre of Jiri Srnec - the "Best of Black light theatre" performance. The first black light theatre in the world. Starts at 8 pm daily.

MOZART DINNER OPERA - Dinner and concert experience awaits you in the magnificent historical palace located in the center of Prague. Three-course dinner is served during the intermissions of a concert composed of famous Mozart’s arias and duets. Starts at 7PM and lasts 2,5 hours.

RIVER BOAT CRUISE - popular romantic cruise on the river Vltava sailing through the most enchanting parts of the Prague historical center.  Boarding under the Cechuv Bridge.

• One hour cruise   - every hour 11am to 6pm.
  

• Two hour cruise with lunch  - daily at 12 am.

• Night Cruise with dinner and music - daily at 7 pm - 10 pm. 
  

The cruise at 12 am and 7 pm  includes welcome drink, buffet lunch or dinner and live music program. The live music ranges from an accordion to a full jazz band. Credit cards not accepted on board.

JAZZ BOAT - great combination of  live music, boat trip and a good dinner.  The boat will cruise through the historical center of Prague but also will go through the lock and take you to the suburbs of the city to see old industrial areas, old riverports and hidden places at night.

Every night 8.30 pm - 11 pm

Music:  leading Czech jazz bands and guests on floating stage

FOLKLORE GARDEN - unforgetable evening that will get you in touch with the Czech soul and tradition. You will be able to savor hearty Czech food, have lots of fun,and learn a great deal about the Czech people, their music, dance, and folklore. The show lasts 2,5 hour starting at 8pm. It is located outside the center, transportation is needed.

Performances depend on season.

For some events additional 300CZK/$13 booking fee is charged per ticket and can be paid upon arrival.  A purchase in advance for some of the tickets is necessary. The PayPal information will be provided and related fees apply. For pre-delivery to your hotel additional 500 CZK/$22  is charged. The price in US$ is only informative and subject to fluctuation of the exchange rate.

Flowers or welcome presents, maps, booklets, souvenirs and other things based on your request can be delivered to your hotel before your arrival.
